Mr Samuel, M.H.R, writing to the News,'states that his decision not to seek reflection is Yrom purely personal consideration, and has nothing whatever to do witb Sir Jalius Vogel's rumored return totho Colony. He further adds that he has letters regularly every mail from Sir Jalius, .who lias never in any way intimated that he intends returning to New Zealand for the purpose of engaging in politics.
