[DY ELECIItIO TELEGRAPH] Railway Returns.. Wellington, Wednesday. Tho actual cash receipts of the railways for Ihe financial year, according to the Treasury returns, are £1,092,000. The amount of the working expenses lias not yet baen compiled, but the Commissioners aro certain that the net revenue, will be quite 4400,000.. This will enable three per cent , to bo paid on tho capital invested. Such a result lias only once previously been obtained since the railways have been inaugurated in the colony.
