From the Egyptian Gazette we cull the following with reference to Messrs Thos, Cook and Sons' new vessel : The Barneses the Great is not only the largest steamer at present afloat on the Nile but considerably the largest that has ever been launched on the river, Her dimensions ato as follows; Length between perpendiculars are 221 feet, beam 80 feet, over all 45 feet, depth moulded 10 feet.
