Aocklahd, February 10. A lad named Herbert Uoldie, nephew of D. Goldio, M.H.R., fell from a horizontal bar and received injuries which resulted in his death. Hokitika, February 10, An elderly man named William Braddon was drowned in the river near the bar, He had, been missing lor the last two days; . He went out fishing and did . not return, It was a very dark night, and it is supposed he slipped'into deep water, Curistohueoh, February 10.. s Au elderly man named Nicholls, nightwatchman to tho .Lyttelton Harbour Board,, has been misßing since 8 a.m. His lantern was found capsized on the wharf,'but,no. trace of the body can be found, though the harbour has been dragged all day. He formerly commanded several coasters,including the steamer Mullooh and the schooner Jennie Duncan,
