The Fedor'ation Conference reserves the right of excluding the press when in committee. The following is the full text of Sir H. Parte' notice of motion:-"That to the opinion of this conference the best interests and present and future prosperity of the Aurtralasian colonies will be promoted by their early union under the Crown, and while fully recognising tho valuable cervices of ; the Convention held in 1831 in founding the Fetlsral Council his Convention declares its opinion that the 7. years that have Bitice elapsed havo developed tiie national life of Australia in its population, in its wealthjn the discovery of iis resources and its self governing oapaeity to an extent which justifies the higher act, at all limes contemplated, of an uniou of theso colonies in one Legislative and Executive (lovernpnt, based upon principles just to the several colonies."
