The Becond game was another' cross; Boreham trying to force a win, missed his hold, and Warnock Bcored a second win. The third game was still another] cross: Boreham seeing he could do no more than draw, resigned, and Warnock won the ohampionship amidst great exoitement." Warnook takes £25 and the championship; Boreliam, £ls, 2; Brodie, £10,3; Hutton, £7los, 4 ; Reid, ffl, 6. The competitors will be entertained at supper to-morrow night. The first three prize-takers were born in Otago Warnook being an old Dunedin man.
