Amendment of the Rabbit Act. Important Suggestion. Dunedin, Wednesday, At the agricultural conference it was decided to recommend that the Rabbit Act bo amended so tliat tho! Inspector, before taking summary proceedings, should inspect tho land complained of with the owner and a witness, to be appointed by the Rabbit Inspector and the owner; the case to bo determined on his evidence, Also, that rabbit proof fencing be included in the Fencing Act, and that tho various Ms.ll.R. be communicated with and asked to have tho Babbit Act amended in such manner as to give effect to their proposals.
