Another Hospital Scandal.

Napier, November 18. The Hospital Committee, after a lengthy discussion, to day decided to : ask for a Government enquiry under the following circumstances:—A Chinaman was sent from Hastings to the hospital by the local doctor. He had previously been in the Hospital, and besides being indiscribably filthy in his habits, had developed sympof insanity. The hospital staff refused to admit him without an order from the Committee, and in tlio end the man was driven back to Hastings, where he died immediately. At the inquest on the body the jury returned n verdict consuring the cominitteo and tho staff. At the Committee meeting to-day, Dr Menzios, the Hospital surgeon, said he believed that the man came to his death by strangling,
