Auckland, November 15, A meeting of the chairmen of the several oommitteos in this district was hold to-day, when the question of compulsory attendance of children at school was discussed. It was decided to recommend that tho Act be altered so as to require every child to attend atleast sixteen times during the month unless exempted.
