Melbourne, November 7. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company sold 5000 lales at their wool sales to-day. rhere was an animated competition, merino fetching priced equal to previous rates, and crossbreds Jd to Id higher. The following are the top figures :—Greasy merino, Is l|d; lambs Is 2d; pieces lOld;crossbreds Is o|d; scoured merinos, Is Bjd; scoured lamb Is s|d; fleeces Is 6d.
