Dunedin, Nov. 6. The Exhibition band contest lias been • fixod for tho 18th, 14th, and Mi March, and is open to tho world. The prizes are £IOO, £45, £3O, and £2O, and special prizes for quickstep and solo playing. The maximum number is 25 and tho minimum 15.
Ministers in Cabinet. Wellington, Thursday, During tlio last two days Ministers liave been in Cabinet, but it is understood the business transacted lias been purely departmental.
