Messrs Lowes k lorns report at their stock sale yesterday. Entries comprised 400 head of cattle, embracing all classes, 200 sheep, besides horses, &c, all lines soiling. Cattle were firm at last sales quotations, Sheep: shorn store ewes made good prices, 6s to 7s 9d. Cattle —Tho following figures were obtained: Large forward bullocks, £4 4s; medium, ditto, £8 18; good stores, £3 4s; medium, ditto, £212; small steers, £2 ; forward cows, £2; medium, ditto, £1 10s ; poor, ditto, £l3s; heifers, £lßs to £l7s; yearling, £18s; calves 13s to 20s; dairy cows, £2 10s to £5 ss.

Sale of show oxhibits: The following were disposed of, Shorthorn bulls, Earl of Grey, Messrs Bidwill, 30gs; Lord Rosebury, Mossrs Martin, 30gs; Albert, H, Toogood, lOgs; Rover, J, Mcßae, Bgs; bull calf, W. lorns, Bgs; Jersey bull, W, Lawrence, 4Jgs;mare, Shepherdes, W. B. Buick, 20gs. In machinery tho only line quitted was a cream separator to Mr Colway for £2O.

Jackson and Co's Jolinsonville stock report Fat cattle came forward in average numbors, Small bullocks of good quality kept late rates, while larger sorts were relatiyely lower, Sheep in full supply, principally moderate weights, the quality being variable, but for the most part good, Prices offered at auction being under the reserves placed upon tho different lines, the majority of the sheep yarded were passed in, ultimately being sold at satisfactory rates, The few lambs entered made lull values, and pigs, which wero of an uneven character, were in good demand. Cattle—Bullocks, Lo to L 6 15s, averaging LG 4s 4d and L 6 Os 7d for the respective consignments, Sheep —Shorn wethers, 9s lid to 12s; shorn ewes, 8s lOd to 10s; lambs, 9a. Ox beef mado 18s fid to 16s, according to quality; wether mutton, 2d per lb; cws do, l jd.
