A HARDSHIP.
Dunedin, October 31, Tho Eov Mr Sutherland, iu an interview with Mr T. Fergus to-day brought under bis notice the sudden discharge of 11 married men on the AVingatui section of tho Otago Central, He said that no sooner had the Commissions taken over the' first section of the railway than the men were dismissed and young unmarried men substituted for them, Mr Fergus promised that full enquiry would be made into tho circumstances of the case.
