Spring Meeting was held to-day, with fmo weather' and excellent races, The principal event was the Wairau Plate, won by Mr H, Ecdwood's Stoat, Bst 101b, beating Mr MeGeorge's Clyde by a short head, Dividend £2 17s. The Hunt Club Steeplechase was won by Mr Richardson's Mercury, Kauri 2, Clyde won tho Flying Stakes, beating four others, The othor events were confined to local horsefl.
