Cr Gapper said the gates wore never meant to be closed except when an alarm of fire was given. The Mayor said to close the gates after an alarm was given would cause delay. Cr Dixon moved and Cr Heron seconded that the recommendations of the Sanitary Committee be adopted and notices be given to tho parties concerned to clear thocreok. Carried.
