Church Conference.
Auckland, Sopt. 20. A conference of laymen of the Church of England in this district, opened last evening, was closed to-night. Tho subjects discussed during the Conference were the provincial constitution of the. church, the church and social reform, and church finauce. Dr Cowie, Angljfcttii bishop of tlj'e djocese, presided.
