Eketaliuna Pound. TO THE EDITOIt. Sin-You will oblige by inserting the following facts in connection with a report, re proceedings of the Eketakima IUI. Court, held on the 11th Boptember, 1889, that appeared.in your issuo of the 14th inst, and refers to the case Police v Neale, breach of Impounding Act. My rambling statement referred to by your Eketaliuna reporter, did not reach so far as stated by him. Re position, as Deputy Official Assignee, will you bo good enough to remind your reporter that he should confine his reports of proceedings at R.M. Courts to foots, not to mislead the public in future. 1 have also to call the attention of tho tiYO Justices of tho Peace, Messrs Anderson and Yon ficden re prosocutions in future, sworn by a constable, the party in question must be placed on oath to provo, or try to prove his case according to the information sworn to, before tho defence is proceeded with. In the case in question it has not been proven that I am guilty of the charges preferred against rue. Having something more to say on the cases on a future date by your permission I will furnish details of same in the course of a day oi two, when I shall have to trouble you for a space in your valuable paper for the information of tho public.
