MASTERTON-THURSDAY. (Before Colonel Roberts R,M.) CIVIL OASES. Judgment was given in the following undefended cases; Hospital trustees v Aloxander Wilson LI 14s, F.W. Temple v J. Eubriok, L 3 2s 3d. Borough Council v J. Wilson L 3 9s sil. JUDGMENT SUMMONS, F. Janett and Co v M. C, Petersen, Balance L 5 10s, Order made for payment in Hdays. Hy Colo v Geo Neale, LI 10s. Ordered to be paid by 26th inst, in default 48 hours. F. W. Temple v W, Foreman, L 9 8s Id, Mr Pownall for plaintiff, Mr Beard for debtor, Debtor stated ho was out of work, and had been laid up, Judgment was given last November. Had a contract falling 15 aores bnsh and lost L7los over it. Had only himself and wifo to maintain. Sent money to his wife when bo bad got it, Had a deferred payment section which be had not paid up, It was now forfeited. Had been working for his "tucker." Was going to a fencing job and would pay LI por month commenoing 12th November, Order made accordingly. (Left Bitting,)
