Messrs Freeman E. Jackson and Co report:—Cattle at Jolmsdnville on Wednesday were in fewer numbers than last weok, the bidding and demand more animated,'and fat bullocks were heavier and better value. ■ Not so many sheep were penned, and prices improved with tho increased demand which also exists for this class of .stock. The entry was comprised principally of wethers. Lambs in full supply at steadier rates. Pigs in average supply, or good quality throughout, and almost all baeoners and porkers, which were sold at full values. ■ Bullocks, £5 23 Gd to 1 610s, average £slss 7d, Sheep—Wethers, Ms 2d to 15s Gd; ewes and w'ethors, 14a 7s; f tore wethers, 10s 9d: lambs, 8s 2d to 10s, Pigs—Largo bacoiws, £2l6s Gto £3l2s 6d; smaller, 25s to 355; porkers, 15s 6d to 21s; small do, lis. Ox ; beef, 15s 6d the 1001b; mutton, 2fd to 8d per lb,
