Freeman R,' Jackson and Oo.'s Johnsonville stack; report for Wednes-day.—-Fat catt|e were yarded in equal numbers .as last week, Tho quality on the whole was not so, good; bidding was generally easier, inferior beef especially meetiug with sluggish demand. Sheep were penned in usual numbers, all wethers excepting one pen, T[ie quality was medium only. We uiust, however, make special reference to a consignment of extra prime wethers from the Linton district, grazed by Mr Sorbye, that readily topped tho market at the highest figures obtained this year. Lambs in full supply at last weeks averaged price, Rigs in large supply; there was a drop in some of the prices obtained for porkers, Stores made reduced values. Baconers continue in good demand. Cattle—Bullocks, £5 10s to £6 7s 6d, averaging £s l9s 9d; two consignments of lightweights, from M 15s to £5 7s 6d, averaged J4Gs7dandi>s 3s 9d respectively.
