"VrUTICK is hereby given that the J_\ Mastertou Town Liiudit Trustees , intend to present a petition to the General Assoiubly of New Zealand, at its present Session, praying for leave to introduce :i Bill to be intituled" The Maslcrton Truat Lands Act, 1889." The objects of the said Bill aro : - (it) To consolidate and amend tho laws relating to the Managewent of .certain Tiust Lauds in the Maßlorton Small Farm Block, Wairarapa. (b) To repeal The Mastertou and drey town Land Mauagement J Act, 1871, audits Amendments : so far as they relate to Masterj ton, and to ro-onact the same j mi far as applicable, To provide for disqualifying tenants of tho Trust, and persons concerned or participating in contracts or work for the Truts within certain limits, for tho office of Trustee. To provide ousting from ollice any disqualified Trustee, To prevent Trustees from voting or discussing any matter in which ho has any interest. ', To incorporate the Trustees and their successors, To provide that the net revenue from Town Acres 42,100, and 111 shall bo devoted to scholarships for boys attending the Public Schools of the district.
