Situndor's property eastwards. The amount proposed to' lie borrowed is L7OO. Masterton, 30th July, 1889. 3200 EKETAHUNA ROAD BOARD. ■ NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Board, with tho consent of tho ratepayers interested, to norrw the following sums under "Tho Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886." 1, Two hundred and fifty pounds for formation and metalling on the Eketahuna-l'arkville Road. To meet the interest and annual charges of the loan a special rate of threepence half-penny in tho pound will be levied on the ratahlo value of the following properties—Sub-section 1 to 31, (inclusive) of section 24 ■ Ekctahuna Township, Cost of raising loan and first year's interest to como out of loan. 2. Three thousand five hundred pounds for stumping, clearing, formation, metalling and culverts on all the roads in tho rural portion of the Wellington , Special Settlement, No, 1 Block to be expended as follows: -15 miles of formation on the poition of roads nearest Newman Township, including culverts and metalling as tar as allow, i' 2,990. Six miles of stumping and clearing on the portion of road nearest the Mangatainoko River, £IBO. Contingencies, £3O. To meet on tho loan, a special rate of livepence and 3-oths of a penny in the pound will be levied on all the ratable properties in the rural portion of the Wellington Special Settlement, No. 1, Block. Cost of raising loan to come out of loan. 3, Sevon hundred and fifty pounds for bridges, formation and metalling on tho Mangaonc Valley Road and Tawitai Road to bo expended, as follows : Bridges and culverts, £183; formation, £317; metalling, £UO ; contingencies, £lO. To meet the interest an* annual charges of the loan, a special rate of one penny and 7-Bths of penny in the pound will bo levied in tho following sectbns -12, 13, 20, 21, 22, 23, 31, 34, Block 111, 31a Block IV, 12, 14, 15, IG, 33,34, Block VI, 1,2, 3,4, 5,7,8,9,11,14, 17, 20, 32, Block VII, all in the Maugaono Surrey District, Coat of raising loan to como out of loan.
