NOTICE is hereby given that tho Mitsterton Town Lands Trustees intend to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand, at its prcsont Session, praying fur leave to introduce a Bill to be intituled " The Mastorton Trust Lands Act, 1889." The objects of the said Bill aro ; - (a) To consolidate and amend the laws relating to the Management of.coilain Tilist Lands in tho Mastorton Small Farm Block, Wairarapa. (b) To repeal The Mastorton and Grcytown Land Management Act, 1871, audits Amendments bo far a« they relate to Masterton, and to re-enact the same bo far as applicable, To provitlo for disqualifying tenants of tho Trust, and persons concerned or participating in contracts or work for tho Trust within certain limits, for tho oflicn of Trustee. To provide ousting from office any disqualified Trustee. To prevent Trustoes from voting or discussing any matter In which he has any interest, To incorporate the Trustees and their sncceßsors. To provide that tho net revenue from Town Acres 42, 100, and 111 shall be devoted to scholarships for boys attonding the Publio Schools of tho district. To provide power to lease lands under "The Public Bodies Powers Act, 1887," excepting Sections C, 12,14, 15 and 16. To provide that the Auditor-Geno-ral shall bo the auditor of the Accounts of the Trust, and to vest lands granted to the Borough Council for street purposes in tho said Council without conveyance, Copies of tho said Bill are deposited in the ollice of tho Examiner of Standing Orders and in the Hcsidcnt Magistrate's Court, Mastorton, Dated this27th day ot July, 1889.
