As this is Jubilee year it tends to inako ono look back and think of tho flight of time, and in this way lam reminded that I am ono of tho vetorans in the sale of your valuable and successful medicine, t have sold it
from tho very first, and hiivo sent it into every county in England, and many ff ■ parts of Scotland, Well do 1 remember * tho hrsb circular you sont out some nine or ten years ago. You had como to England from America to introduce Mother Seigel's Curative Syrup, and 1 was struck with a paragraph in which you used these words:—" Being a strangor in a strange land, I do not wish tho people, to feel that I want to take tho least advantage ovor them. I feol that I luivo a remedy that will cure
disease, and I havo so much confidence Wfin it that 1 authorise my agents to ref imid tho money if people should say ' that thoy have not benefitted by its use, I folt at once that you would nover say that unless tho modicine had a morit, and. I applied for the Agency, a step which 1 now look back npunwith pride aud satisfaction . Ever Bince that time 1 havo found in •by far tho best remedy for Indigestion and Dyspepsia I have met with, and I havo sold thousands of bottles. It has never failed in any case whero thore woro any of the following symptoms : Nervous or sick headache, sourness of tho stomach, rising of food aitcr eating, a seuso of fullness and heaviness, dizzl-
ncßs, bad breath, slime and mucus on tho gums and teeth, constipation and , yellowness of tho eyes and skin, dull and fc> sloopy sentations, ringing in the ears, % heartbnrii, loss of apoetite, and, in short whether there are signs that the system is clogged and tho blood is out of order. Upon repeated onquiries, covering a reat varioty of ailments, my customers have always answered," lam better, or "lam perfectly well." Whatlhavo seldom or never seen beforo in tho case of anyinedicinoisthatpooplo tell each other of its virtues, aud those who havo teen cured say to the suffering; "Go nd got.Mother Soigol's Curative Syrup, it will make you well." Out of hundreds of cures I will namo ono or two hat happen to como to my mind, Two old gentlemen, whoso names thoy would not like rue to givo yon, had beon martys to Indigestion and Dyspepsia for many years. They had tried all kinds of medicino without relief, Ono of them cas so bad he could not bear a glass of tea. Both woro advised to use the Syrup and both recovered, and were as hale and hearty as men in the prime o ifo. f A rcmarkablo easels that ot a houso painter named Jcfl'ries, who lived at Ponshurst, in Kent, His business obliged him to expose himsolf a groat deal tho wiind an weather, and ho was soizod
with rheumatism, and his' joints soon v welled up with dropsy, and wore very **« s tiff and painful. Nothing that th Doctors could do scoraotl to reach th cat of the trouble. It so erippled him hat ho could do hardly any work, aud or the whole of the winter of 1878 and '7!/, he had togivo up and take to his bed He had beon afflicted in this sorry way for three yoars, and was getting worn out /md discouraged. Besides, ho had spent Wwcr £l3 for what ho called "doctor's muff" without the least bonofit, In the Spring he heard of what Mother Seigel'a Curativo Syrup lias done lor others and bought a2& 6d bottlu of me. .Inn few days he sent me word that he was much better—before ho had finished the bottle. Ho then sent to me for a 4s 6d bottln as'_ I was going down that way I carried it down myself. On getting to his homo'what was my astonishment and aurptiso to find him o\H in tho gariden weeding an onion bod. I could hardly believe my own cyos, and said—- " Youought not to ho out hero, man, it may be tho death of you, aftur being laid up all wiulor with rheumatism and dropßy."
His reply was:—"There is nodangci', The weather is fiuo, and Mother Soigcl's urative Syrup has done for mo in a fow days what tho doctors could not do n thieo yoars. . 1 think I shall get well HOW."
Ho kept on with tho Syrup, and do thrco weeks ho was at work again, aim has had no return of tho troublo for now nearly ten vears, Any medicine th can do this should be known all ovor the world.
