Tlio following extract from llio will , of tho late John Bright, tlio People's Tribune, will be read with general interest: "I dosirots bo buried in tlio little grave yard attached to tho Friend's Meeting-house at Rochdale, alongside the gravo of ray late dear wife. In that small plot of land are the graves of my grandmother, of my dear old aunt, Margaret Wood, of my just and genorous father, of my .stilted mothor, of my dear sister Sophia, of my two brothers, William, who died in childhood, and Benjamin, and of her who was my precious wife from tho year 1889 to ttotyear 1811, aud of her who, from tho year 1817 to the year 1870, was tho light and comfort of my home, and whoso removal cast a heavy cloud over tho remaining days or years of my life, In the sarno ground aro buried many who were the friends of my paronts and the kind friends of my youth and of my life, Among all these I wish laid. 1 wish, too that this VWffvayard should bo undisturbed and Kept in order becoming its purpose; and feeling that the duration of a cougregation of our small sect in this town is not certain, I wish to provide againsftiio neglect, or sale, or appropriation to other purposes of this small burial ground, and I recommend to my sons, and to my soil John Albert more particularly, to set aside in some way, at sucli a time as may not bo inconvenient to them, the [sum of ,£IOOO for tho purmso of providing for the purchaso of roe burial ground, and for main taining it in perpetuity in becoming order. This sum, with accruing interest, will perhaps be sufficient for the purpose, and for such arrangements as may be deemed needful to secure the object I have in view."
