At the resent railway accident at North Melbourne, two Chinamen wore passengers who escaped unhurt. Four 'cuto Mangolians have sent in claims for compensation against the Department. Mr J. G, Brown, of New Norfolk, Tasmania, has obtained £1 7s per casj tor apples in the London market.
