Akitio Road Board.
A meeting of the Board waß held on Thursday last. Present—Messrs flandyside (chairman), Harvey, Liverton, Burlin?, and Foreman, The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, The Treasurer reported balance in Bank, £ll3 9s 2d, The valuation roll was received from the Property Tax Commissioner. It was resolved that a sum of £8 5s bo voted towards opening a horse track to Mr Eastwood's section on th,B Aohanga river, and that a general rate of fivesixteenths of a penny in the Jj be made and lovied for the current year. In balloting foe morabors who havo to.rotiro at the end of the first year, Messrs Burling' and Harvey were balloted out. Accounts amounting to £2J 53 Jld were passed for payment and the next meeting was fixed for ?th August,
