MASTERTON HOSPITAL.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Trustees was held yesterday. Present: Messrs J. C. Boddihgton, (Chairman), B. P. Perry, W. H. Beetham, J. lorns, J. B, Keith, and Rev W, E. Paige. The minutes of the previous meeting having beoii confirmed the Treasurer reported a credit balance of £127 17a-10a.

A letter was read from Messrs Bidwill Bros in referoiico to tlio present whereabouts ot a late inmate of tho Hospital.

The following accounts were passed for payment:—J. Graham and Co, stores, £4 7s lOd, H, Jones, milk, Ms Id, Brown, Thompson & Co, printing, £2 ss, J, Williams, fish. Is Gd, J. Williams, stove, 5s 9d, T. G. Mason, medicines, £i 19s lid, W. Perry, meat, £4 3s Bd, Chamberlain Bros, broad, 18s Bd, in account from E. O. Smith, ploughing, £3 Is, was referred back to the Secretary for further information, Thecustodian rcportodfive patients m tho Hospital at the present time. Six now cases had been admitted and three had been discharged since last meeting. The Secretary reported upon the steps taken to recover the amounts owing by former inmates of the institution. Fresh instructions wuro given in several instances to compel defaulters to pay up, Mr B. P. Perry was appointed visiting member for tho month, and the meeting closed,
