Mr F. fl. Wood reports of his ' stock sale held at the Taratahi yards yesterday. Sheep came forward in good numbers, aad of good class, very few cattle were yarded. Ihe attendance of buyers was good,, ana bidding for sheep spirited throughout, prices realised showing a slight advance on last sale fi,nd being as under: Sheep-Wethers; forward, 10s; wethers, fat, lis; ewes and wethers, mixed, forward, 7s lOd; empty ewes, 4a to 6s 8d; ewes in lamb, 4s to us Gd, Cattle —Steoffs, 2-year-old, 465; ' steers, yearlings, 10s; lieifera, in calf, BOa; cows in calf, 4.0s to 57s Gd. , Horses, 27s Cd L 7. Pigs-Porkers, - 14a; suckers, Ba.
