Mr and Mrs Agnew wero. charged to day with having no lawfnl means of support and remanded until Wednesday. Mr Jellicoe, counsel, said lie would arrange for their board for that period and in the meantimo endeavour to make arrangements for their leaving Wellington,
An additional Justice of tho Peace list will be issued shortly to fill up vacancies caused by death or retirement in districts where the want oi Justices causes public inconvenience, There will he about eighteen names on the list.
