Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co report of their stook sale' at Jobnsonville yards on Wednesday: Cattle were yai-ded in fall numbers, ranging irom inferior to good quality. Although the demand was brisk, beef was relatively lower than last week. The voalers were a very uneven let; suitable calves made good values. Sheep were in short supply at late •rates. 'Pigs were. well represented, baconers and.good porkers making a ready sale. Ox beef made 18s to 18s 6,d the. lOOlbswether mutton 2d, awe do l|d, Bullocks from £4' to £5165,,-the different averages being £4los 4d, £t> 4s Sd. and £slos lOd, ve#g ftom 8s to 265, Wothers lis 6d, owes 8s 4d, owes and wethers 9s fid, figs, small baconers 28s to 85s, porkers 20s Gd to 255, smaller sorts 14s to 18s 6d, stores 4s 3d to 10s.
