There ia a plentiful supply of maize at. 2s 9d to 3s 2d, and the market is declining., BarleyCapo, 3s; tono of tbe market is dull. There is a steady demand for bran at la Id. Pollard, Is 2d to 1b 2Jd. Potatoes—New Zealand, JE4 - IDs; Tasmanian, £4 17a 6d; Ciieular Heads, £5 2s 6d. New. Zealand onions (best) are scarce, £ls to £l6. Butter—Market glutted with inferior qualities only; best quality is saleable; separator made, la to Is Id j dairy made,'Bd to lOd. - Cheese market is dull, and there is a plentiful supply ; local manufacture, 6d to 7}d; New Zealand, 7d to 7|d. The agricultural statistics just published show an increase of 170,000 bushels of wheat over the preceding season, and a general increase in other grains.
