A meeting of the Board was held yesterday.' Present— Messrs Marchant (Commissioner), Bunny, Macarthur, M.H.E., McCardle, and Fitzherbert, Land sold since \gst meeting, 4482 acres 1 rood 7 perches fer £3714 lis Od. A. J. Rutherford received permission to. complete payments on seotlon 203,' block 12, Mangaone. The following applications to capitalize were approved: A. Shout, section 40, block 5, Mangaone; J. Davoy, section 8, block 5, Makuri, obtain title; ll,j Caselberg, seotiou 63, block 7, Mangabao. The following transfers were approved: Section 27, Levin suburbs, A, J. S. Dews to P. 1 Stuckoy; section 16, Block 11., Ma|iuri; G. V. Ascho to H. Wagafeff. Mr G. F. Hall applied to transfer, seotion 16, block XI, Mangahao, to J. Ayreton, This was agreed to,' but the Board decided by a resolution that in future'' cases of a similar character the Board will decline to approve of such speculative transfers. Subject to'the same rider the following transfers wore' approved; W. Bliss, and I.'
