Auckland; Friday. A deputation of solicitors petitioned Government through the Hon Mr Mitohelson to reconsider the removal of the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court to Wellington. Mr Mitohelson held out no hope, as the removal was decided on in full Cabinet. The Chief Judge would, however, be in Auckland as often as any other district.
