Home for the Aged Poor.

Auckland, April 24. This afternoon the founihtion stone ottho proposed Costley's ; Home for Aged Poor, to be built near One-tree Hill, at Epsom, was laid by Lord Onslow. There was a large attendance, including- the Countess of Onslow. 'Addresses were delivered by, Mr 0. Atkin, chairman of the Charitable Aid Board, and Mr 0. Mays, another member of that body, and Lord Onslow then laid tho stone, The trowel presented to him was of silver with ivory handle, and it was suitably inscribed, Lord Onslow in a brief speech expressed his pleasui' l . at being able to attend that day, though he had had to make - a slight alteration in his arrangements, and he praised the benevolence of Costley, Suicide.
