A good trial has just been given in 8,500 lambs and sheep with most satisfactory result The ticks found were all dead by the following morning, the wool appearing soft and in good order. I used tho dip one-sixth stamper than your directions stated, and although this may be unnecessary with short woolled sheop, I believe it is desirable with unshorn lambs and woolley sheep to have it a sixth or perhaps an eighth stronger. My object was to be on the safe aido, and this lam confident has been effected, I would also mention that an old ewe was tried in dip one-fourth stronger and sustained no injury, nor apparently did the wool, The ticks were doad an hour or so after dipping,-I am, faithfully yours,
