"The Governor's Reception. Auckland, April 14. In consequence of the probability that those men who desire to leave the camp at Hamilton and attend the Governor's reception will not be permitted to do so, a number of volunteers have decided that they will not go into camp, The Onehunga corps of Volunteers have declined to attend the camp, and' have offered their services at Lord Onslow's reception, It is expected that a large number of Native chiefs will assist in welcoming his Excellency.
