A good trial has just been given in 8,500 lambs and sheep with most satisfactory result The ticks found wore all dead by the following morning, the wool appearing soft and in good order. I used tho dip one-sixth stamper than your directions stated, and although this may be unnecessary with short woolled sheep, I believe it is desirable with unshorn lambs and lvoolley sheep to have it a sixth or perhaps an eighth stronger, My object was to be on the safe side, and this lam confident has been effected. I would also mention that an old owe was tried in dip one-fourth stronger and sustained no injury, nor apparently did the wool.
