CHALLENGE—£IOO A SIDE.
(To the Editor of Wahuleapa Dally.)
Sir.—ln a paragraph in your weekly issue of February 28th (under heading Monday) you quote some slighting remarks from a paper called the Yeoman, where I am said to be "talking big." Would you kindly say what issue the paragraph was taken from. I should also be glad to know where the paper is published. To the point—lf the Editor of the Yeoman or any other person is disposed to back any Australian foi a two mile walking match for £IOO a-side, I am prepared to accept the offer. Trusting you will be good enough to publish this letter, lam &c., H. Hodge. [The Yeoman is published at Wanganui.—Ed. "W.D.
