The last cup match oi the season between the Phoenix v. Star first slovens was concluded at Wellington on Saturday afternoon, tho former winning by an innings and 25 runs. District Hospital Board. A mesting of tho Wairarapa District Hospital Board was held on Saturday afternoon. Present: Messrs E. D. Dagg, (Chairman), S. K Guppor, W.Cundy, T. E. Chamberlain, and |A. W.Renall.' The Seoretary laid bofore the meeting statements of the reosipts and expenditure of the Masterton and Wairarapa Hospitals tor tho past year. It was resolved to request the Sooretary of the Wairarapa Hospital to supply-details in future statements in compliance with the not, £n application for £llO was received from the Wairarapa Hospital as a grant-in-aid for tho current year. It was resolved to grant the application, The Secretary intimated that a sum of £lO would meot current expenses duriDg the year, and it was thereupon resolved to levy £l2O from the contributing bodies. The Secretary was instructed to request tho Borough of Carterton to appoint a representative on the Board, There being no other business, the meeting terminated,
