Ihe ticks found were all dead by the following morning, the wool , appearing soft and in good order. I-usedthedip one-sixth stronger than your directions stated, and although this may be unnecessary with short woolled sheep, I believe it is desirable with unshorn lambs and woolley sheep to have it a sixth or perhaps an eighth stronger. My object was to boon the safe side, and this lam confident has been effected. I would also montion that an old ewe tried in dip one-fourth stronger and sustained no injury, nor apparently did the wool. The ticks were dead an hour or so after dipping,—l fully yours, J.
