London, March 28, Leather.—Best sides are a halfpenny lower, and basils a farthing lower than previous quotations. The demand is poor. The Antwerp wool salos have dosed i firm. Tallow is firm' and advancing slightly. Medium mutton, 28s Gd; ditto beef, Hides—First heavy ox, Bsd; first light ox and first cow, 8 8-Bd. Sugar is. advancing; German beot, 15s 9d; Java ditto, 17s 6d. The English wheat market is depressed, and the Continental declining. The American shows a slight improvement, Forward business is weak, and only transacted at a dpcline; The arrivals of foreign wheat are large, and off coast cargoes are not meeting with ready sale.
