A meeting of sympathisers with the .Parneli party was held here last evening, Mr Furlong in the chair, There was a good attendance, aud Mr McGuire moved and T. Hutchinson seconded a motion in favor of Home Eule, which was carried. On the motion of Mr Barton and the Mayor a subscription list was opened, and over £SO was subscribed iu the room. Mr Ballance had been inyitedbut wis unable to be present. He wrote strongly sympathising with the object and wishing the meeting success.
