; The ordinary meeting of tho above Board was held, on Saturday, 26th January, 1889. . Present: MessrsGuilder Guuderson (Chairman), Charles Forsberg, Hugh W.Jaokson, and John Bannister. v The minutes • of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was • read from Public : Works Offico re abolition of Public Works Depart- , , meat.: Front County, Council re '■ services of eugineeiv .From Eketa-. buna Koad Board re deputy meeting! for adjustment of boundary line, Iff was resolved that'the Chairman meet- : the deputy from Eketahuna Bojird ' at the County Council tcrton, and . that the Clerk Infp the Eketahuna Board to.that.effeot. That the collector be instructed to sue for all rates' unpaid by tliS 24th February, 1889. That tenders bs called for 7 chains, more or less, of ■ metalling on the .West Mauricevillo' Road. Accounts amounting to 10b 6d were passed for payment. The collector reported' having, received rates amounting to £sl2s Cd, TheTreasurer reported oredit balance of, ■ £lO9 4s, sd. Messrs: Jackson and . I Bannister were'.appointed- to sign cheques. The meeting then adjoumed. ' .
