In December, 18$7, when the outburst of oil and the burning of the derricks of the South Pacific Petroleum Company's well ocourred, the boring tools fell to tho bottom of the well, ana since then, have not been recovered, This caused delays in testing the well. Yesterday Mr Woaver, the manager, suceeded in recovering the tools, and is proceeding with the tests. A meeting of the shareholders of the Company is to be held at Sydney on the 80th'! instant, to decide what is now to be dono.
