The Wesleyan Sunday School ; Anniversary Tea Meeting at Kuri- ' puni, was a pronounced success ou Tuesday, notwithstanding the various and numerous attractions offering elsewhere on ; that beautiful holiday. From uu early hour in the afternoon a-large crowd of young people of both sexes had assembled in Mr ' Pybus' paddock where various games were indulged iu with great apparent zest, with little intermission "until the shades of evening gathered round and the public meeting rendered their presence in thehalla necessity. •■; Over 200 persons sat down to a splendid ' tea, presided • over /by Mesdames''Pybus,- Jones,-Daniels,' McLeiinan' and Miss Telling, and assisted Jby several young ladies whodid their utmost to please their customers.
