The following is the Cora Exchange report for the week ending Friday, January 11 Ab anticipated, business has somewhat regained its former briskuess, and again tliere is a fair enquiry for various lines of produce. Although prices have considerably receded from thoir high values in November last, present business is being transacted oil a healthy footing, apart from speculation, aud while expeoting to see prioes still lower as tho advent of the new crop nears, we shall expect to see the bulk of our old stock cleared during the next six weoks at present values, The outlook of the harvest up to the present is most pro. mising, both as regards yield and quality, but it is too far from tho granary yet to say what might not jßjappeh. Farmers are now largely -ordering their binding twine and sacks, which is an indication that harvest is approaching, but wo can hardly expect to see it in full swing . before the end of the month. The Australian markets, which have played such a conspicuous part in our price list during the past two months, have receded to something •like reasonable prices, and there are atill good prospeotsduring tho coming season of our doing a fair trade in feeding grains, Wheat.—Stocks are 'not yet all in tho hands of merchants. A few farmers have hold back and are now compelled to accept a muoh lower! price than they could have obtained some' Weeks ago. Sales have been made at 8s lOd to 4b, but merchants do not peorn anxious to give more than Ss 9d to 8a lOd for the best samples; second quality is scarce at 3d; chickwheat ranges from 2s 9d rtb 8b Bd. Oats,—The best offer is about 8s for prime, short parcels, and feed oats, 2s lOd to 2s lid. Ryegrass stands at 2s 3d to 2s 6d for average farmers' parcels, and 8s to 8s 8d for machine dressed. Dairy Pboduoe,—Butter prices are now as low as they have been all' the season, and it is difficult to place at above 7d. ulieese, howover, has a very, firm enquiry at 4sd to 5d for good quality. The Sydney demand has entirely collapsed for the timo being.
