Christohuboh; January 8. ■ Mr John Matson,; by the; Manapouri to-day, sends! to Melbourne a consignment of sheep of extraordinary size as specimens, of stock reared in New Zealand. They consist of five merinos, bred by Mr Leonard White, of South Ettlaiaj varying from 1401b?, to 1581bs in weight, and fiveragiqg 1481bs; ten Hampshire Downs, bred . .from' stock imported from Australia,by Mr. C, T, Dudley, weighing from 1971bs to 2881bs, averaging 2101bs. ■
