An Amateur Dramatic Sooiety is being organised in Eketahun*. -I know very little of the talent of thf proposed company, but I trust thev will succeed in their undertaking, We want something of this sort - tc keep us alive. ■

The now Wesleyan Church is UGiiily completed. On the opening day there is to-be a big tea-meeting held in it, and I hear that ministers from Mastertonl Carterton,' and Greytown will be in attendance. . . There is eomo talk of a Public Hall teing built here by Mr, Anders Anderson, I hope the report is correct, . ,
