Messrs Freeman B. Jaokson and Co. report:—The yards at Johnsonvijle on Wednesday were well filled with stock. Some Heavy cows qauie forward; the rest of the beef was from inferior to good, and, brought about 18s Cd the 1001b. Sheep were slightly lower thanlastweek, Lambs wore penned in'full numbers;,good fat lambs sold fairly well, bat a large proportion of the entry wore only stores, whioh are not saleable at these yards. Clients should be careful in their selection of lambs, sending only those that are fat. Pigs were easier, and sold at quotations below. Cattle —One pair of best bullocks made £7, others, £5-Bs to £Q, averaging £slos fid; prizo. show cows, from £B ,; 2s Gdto £7 7s fid; inferior light bullocks from M2sGd to £5.
